Aloha mai kākou e nā hoa! 🙂 I hope you all have been doing amazing!
If you’re wondering why I’ve been a little silent, or you start questioning my future writing if it sucks, you can blame me being an emotional wreck. Why, you may ask?
You can thank a little movie called Avengers: Infinity War.
You see, from the moment I had seen the first trailer, I was extremely hyped about this movie! My only dilemma? I hadn’t seen a single movie other than Iron Man and Spider-Man: Homecoming
(where I have an extreme crush on Tom Holland). With this in mind, one of my many goals of 2018 was to watch all 18 Marvel movies before Avengers: Infinity War came out, and I was able to complete that goal! (Mahalo, Internet!)
My completed Marvel movies list!
My friends and I went to see the movie this past Saturday, and I was pumped! However, by the time the ending credits rolled, I was one emotional wreck, especially since all these characters & storylines have been fresh in my mind the past four months. (That’s all I’ll say about the movie! I don’t want to spoil the experience for anyone!) However, Avengers: Infinity War is such an amazing movie, and I am definitely planning on watching it again in theaters!
First, I’ve been nominated for some blogging awards! 🙂 Thank you so much for the nominations! Those posts will be completed and published hopefully within this week!
Also, I’ve been contemplating lately on things to write about in my blog, and I kind of wanted to start some series on here!
Series #1 would focus on my experiences working and volunteering – kind of like a teaching diaries of some sort. Because I want to eventually become a teacher myself, I think it would be fun documenting my life and the ups and downs of working with kids (because let’s face it, kids can be quite a handful at times!).
Series #2 would be something I’d like to call “Moʻolelo Mondays”. “Moʻolelo” in Hawaiian translates to “story, tale, myth, history, tradition, literature, legend” (and anything of that sort). I’m not entirely sure yet if I’d want to go through with this series, nor am I sure about what kind of stories I’d want to share about (either about my life, Hawaiian stories, etc.). However, I enjoy sharing stories (if you can’t already tell in my posts), plus it’d be nice to lighten up Mondays with different stories 🙂
What do you guys think? Do you have any suggestions on things you’d want to read? Let me know!
Mahalo ā nui! I hope you all have a lovely week 🙂
Me ke aloha,
